Hi my name is Emily and I have been making my pill artworks since 2010.
During my time at Kingston University while I was studying Fine Art, my health deteriorated and I became fascinated with the pills I was taking, pill packaging and medical paraphernalia. This resulted in me using them in my artworks and 10 years on I am still making them.
The application and repetition of making my pill artworks is still very much theraputic for me with my illnesses. I hope my artworks although stem from pain bring joy and happienss through the use of bright colours, glitter and sprinkles.
All my artworks are unique and nothing will ever be the same due to every pill being handmade individually.
